Hello and Welcome to another Business Article on Sewa Diary. I hope you're doing very well.

Due to COVID-19 outbreak almost every business in the world is working with limited capacity. It's very hard to establish a saturation point in demand and supply system.  This is the most challenging time for small businesses, startups, laborers and its owners to survive.

In current scenario, it is very hard to find a new job and the persons who were already employed, are doing work from home. Therefore, we've to utilize this time very carefully. This time can be utilized in one of the following manner:

So here based on my practical working, i am going to provide a list of keyboard shortcut-keys by following which you can boost up your billing and working speed in Marg Software.  Let's begin the article..

What are shortcut keys and how to use it?

This article describes the shortcut methods for desktop version MARG ERP 9+ Silver Edition, which can be used on its other versions. These methods are used for fast billing and routine working. But be sure that, whatever you do, take the backup atleast 2 times. Take backup, once before start working and another after completing the work.

💁 Be noted that:

• These shortcuts in this topic refer to the US keyboard layout which is a general keyboard used by common public.

• A plus sign (+) in as shortcut means that you need to press multiple keys at the same time.

• A comma sign (,) in a shortcut means that you need to press multiple keys in order.

Basic Shortcuts in Marg Software

1. CTRL + W: To save entry/event/transaction or anything in Marg.
2. ESC:  To exit any task.
   

Shortcuts in Ledger Statements

1. CTRL + L: Open all ledger accounts.
2. F2: Select date range for a particular ledger statement.
3. ALT + F1: To view the current year & last year ledger transactions together.
4. F4: To find a particular transaction date-wise.
5. F6: To find transaction using voucher no., narration, party name, group name and more.
6. F8: To find the transaction's journal entry entered by system.
7. F12 (press 1 time): To open calculator,
   
8. F12 (press 2 time): To move calculator from one place to other then press Enter to start working.
   
9. F12 + ESC: For closing calculator without impacting other working at backend.
   
10. ESC: Press Escape for going one step back.
11. CTRL + W: To save entry/event/transaction or anything in Marg.

Shortcuts in Payment & Receipt Vouchers

1. F11: For entering previous or last recorded narration

Shortcuts in Inventory Store

1. CTRL + I: For opening all items
2. F11: To view category-wise stock. For example: Finished Stock, Raw Material, Packing Material
3. F3: To open item master and modify item detail.
4. F2: To create a new item.
   
5. CTRL + W: To save entry/event/transaction or anything in Marg.

Shortcuts in Purchase & Sale Invoices 

1. Press F5, to print and show temporary MRP and Batch on bill printing. Use this feature: if MRP in item master: 100.00, Want to show MRP in bill: 120.00 for temporary basis.
2. Press F12, to open calculator at any stage (press ESC to close calculator)
