Nobody Can Add You In WhatsApp Groups Without Permission. Know How To Implement Settings.

This article is written for WhatsApp and Business-WhatsApp users, who are not interested in adding themselves in the groups created by others without permission. It is helpful for business owners, students, teachers, children and for common people.

Creating groups and adding the other people as a member of group, is a very common activity these days. According to a thought it is a source of entertainment but for some people it is irritating and annoying. Adding someone without ones permission is illegal and not correct. So, let me tell you three simple steps by following which you can restrict anybody from adding you in unknown WhatsApp groups.


Step 1.

Turn on the Internet Connection and open Business-WhatsApp

Step 2.

Find the icon ⋮ of three dots, as you can see it is given on top-right side inside Business-WhatsApp. Click on it.

Step 3.
|
Go to Settings,
  • then — Account,
  • then — Privacy,
  • then — Groups,
  • now select Nobody and click the button DONE at the end.

Finally, from now if someone will add you as group member of any WhatsApp group, An invitation link will be received from the person who has added you and now its your decision whether you want to add or not.

Till the date 19-05-2020, this feature is not available for normal WhatsApp users. You can stop only two types of people to add you as group member. You can select either contacts or some selected persons out of contacts but still unknown persons can continue adding you in groups without your permission. So, as soon the new update will be arrived from WhatsApp, we will update this article too.

Till then you can use either WhatsApp or Business-WhatsApp or 'both with different phone numbers' as per your choice.
